NEW: The man accused of killing a 61-year-old North Carolina resident in an alleged DUI hit-and-run crash is a previously deported illegal alien with past arrests for DUI and assault. DHS says Werner Orosco-Clemente, aka “Wilmer Fuentes Mejia,” first entered the U.S. illegally in 2015, was released under the Obama administration, deported under Trump in 2020, and later slipped back in as a gotaway.
